Runners at the starting line of Ocean City’s annual New Year’s Day 5K on Friday afternoon.The First Day 5K Run is popular part of Ocean City’s New Year’s Day celebration, which also includes the First Dip.Matt Hayes, a 20-year-old from Drexel Hill, Pa., won the race in 16:39, and Emma Zwall, just 12 years old, of Ivyland, Pa., was the top female in 19:25. first_imgDONEGAL’S All-Ireland winning stars will be at the Station House Hotel in Letterkenny this evening – along with the Sam Maguire of course!The popular hotel’s is marking the opening of its new function room which will be even more popular with Glenswilly players and fans – it’s being called the Glenswilly Room!To mark the occasion there will be a dance this eveing with the Sam Maguire and some of the county players there for the official opening.
