SBC: Firstly, could you tell us further how Robotip enhances the in-play experience for sports bettors? Morten Hauge: Quite simply put it, enables the customers to quickly get an opinion through statistics, on matches that you would normally have no clue or interest. The bot will search through the markets for the punter, going through the time consuming task of analysing the key stats allowing punters to just place the bet, sit back and watch the action unfold.SBC: How much can the new feature help expand the value of an operator’s sportsbook offering?MH: There are always a lot of live football matches running, and therefore there is always potential for turnover, but bettors don’t know what to bet on, so they stick to the major leagues. By applying the Bot we expect our customers to engage in a wider range of leagues, and in doing so bringing more value and revenue from a wider scope of leagues.SBC: Will the bot feature increase the personalisation in a sportsbook offering? MH: Yes, we are working on letting the customer set up their own scenarios based on live statistics instead of the pre-defined scenarios.SBC: Can the new feature be maximised on all platforms? MH: Yes, the widget is extremely easy to stage and integrate to our current partners. As long as we have branded colour guidelines it will be on site within one or two days after requesting the feature. Since it is from a widget it can be place on basically any webpage which makes it a useful tool for acquisition. A smaller ‘acquisition bot with banner is ready and should be starting to see traffic very soon.
