first_imgLet’s imagine for a moment that you’ve been asked to lead a group of settlers. Your team will be traveling through uncharted territory and will begin in Fresno, Calif., and head east. The goal is to reach Santa Fe, N.M., where the group plans to build a home. There has never been a group attempt to reach Santa Fe from the west. What should you do at this point? You could:accept the risk and begin the journey without knowing what lies ahead;mitigate the risk by sending a scout team ahead to inform you of any obstacles;transfer the risk by contracting experienced guides to help lead the group; oravoid the risk and refuse to lead the group.In this case, let’s assume you’ve decided to accept the leadership role and forge ahead and mitigate the risk. A scout team is moving ahead of the group. Runners are relaying messages back to the group leader. The group has been traveling for several days through the desert and conditions are beginning to improve. The group is anxious to hear what the runners have to say. Antique all set for 2-day medical mission

The Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital in San Jose, Antique is ready for a two-day medical mission slated Jan. 30 to 31. PNA/ANNABEL CONSUELO PETINGLAY He said on the eve of the medicalmission, three doctors from the JRRMMC have arrived in the province to attendto the patients. Provincial information officer GalileoMagbanua on Wednesday said 12 patients would undergo major surgery while 28others are set for minor surgery. “Patients who will undergo majorsurgery have been admitted at the ASMGH already for their necessarypre-operation procedures,” Magbanua added. The “One-Time, Big-Time” medicalmission will be conducted by the joint medical team from the Jose R. ReyesMemorial Medical Center (JRRMMC) and the ASMGH. Aside from those who would undergomajor and minor surgeries, 11 other patients will undergo cataract operationwhile 70 others need dental assistance.center_img “The dental patients will also begiven their needed dentures for free,” Magbanua said. Around 10 to 20 doctors from theJRRMMC were expected to arrive for this “One-Time, Big-Time” medical missionfor sick and indigent Antiqueños. “The three advance party doctors arespecializing in pediatrics, pathology and radiology,” Magbanua added. The free medical mission was organizedby Gov. Rhodora Cadiao and Lone District Rep.
