They also make dreams come true for parents, who just wanna see their kid smile. HUGE thanks to our Prop Master, Dan Sissons, for making sure every kid left with his/her own sword. (Bamboo versions. Not stabby-stabby versions).”Following his post, one social media follower made a point of the fact criticised Ryan’s film is R-rated, and therefore inappropriate for children under 17 to watch.“Guys Deadpool is (a) R rated movie and those kids are watching it… I think something is wrong here,” the fan wrote.Reynolds has now hit back, writing: “Yup. Deadpool is Rated R. If my kid went through a fraction of the s–t these kids deal with daily, I think they can watch whatever they like. That’s just my .02 cents.”It is unclear when the set visit took place, but Ryan wrapped filming on the sequel last year. A team of researchers from the University of Münster, the University of Oxford and the University of Exeter has built an all-optical neural network on a single chip. In their paper published in the journal Nature, the group describes their chip, which has no optical-to-electronic conversions, and how well it worked. But for several decades, scientists have wondered if it might be possible to use light as the data medium—crunching photons instead of electrons. Engineers have many hurdles in attempting to create such a device, however, most prominently the bottlenecks that arise when converting between optical and electrical systems. In more recent times, there has been a renewed interest in building an optically based computer—but now, the focus is energy conservation. Big modern computers used for heavy-duty applications require a lot of electricity. Logic suggests that computers based on light should be less energy intensive, most particularly because they would not generate as much heat, making cooling systems obsolete. In this new effort, the researchers have taken a step toward the creation of optically based computers by building an all-optical neural network on a single chip.The researchers noted that one type of computer system seemed most amenable to optics—deep neural networks. This is because such networks rely on artificial neurons with synaptic connections that can be weighted based on past learning experiences. They noted also that crystalline phase change materials could also serve such a purpose. They are materials that experience a change in structure when heated—in this case, by a laser. Using such a material, the team built a chip with four neurons connected with 60 synapses using waveguides to control the flow of information represented by light. Testing showed the chip was capable of learning, recognizing patterns and performing computations. BALURGHAT: A Trinamool worker was attacked by alleged BJP activists with sharp weapons on Sunday night. The incident took place in Dangi Kalaibari area under Bhatpara Gram Panchayat of Balurghat block. A seriously injured Sanjay Das (38), who is the husband of former Bhatpara GP member Jyostna Das, was rushed to Balurghat Super-Specialty Hospital. He had received head injuries. A written complaint has already been filed with the police against BJP activist Sujay Das and his co-workers. Police said the accused and his followers have been absconding. The BJP activists led by Sujay had attacked the victim with sharp weapons on Sunday night, while the latter was on his way back home from a fair. Sources said immediately after winning Bhatpara GP in the rural polls, BJP activists have started attacking Trinamool workers. “Sujay and his followers are the ones who have attacked my husband. The BJP goons have started terrorising locals after capturing power in Bhatpara GP. Police must arrest the culprits,” said Jyostna Das.
