Sharecenter_img Share 181 Views   no discussions Adventurers and tourists will soon have a local tour guide right at their fingertips in the form of a new webpage from the Dominica Hotel Tourism Association.On Friday, Jan 17th the DHTA launched its ‘Experience Dominica Digital Destination Handbook’, a digital platform which enables the DHTA and stakeholders to share the Dominica experience with users.At the launch, president of the DHTA, Marvlyn James conveyed the uniqueness of the feature saying “It will be more of a guide book to make it easier for users to navigate and find information when planning vacations and things to do when on island.”She listed, “where to stay, culinary experiences, adventure, festivals, culture.”James says the portal will provide, “up-to-date information on how to get to Dominica from different source markets… It is very difficult to get to Dominica and a lot of travelers do not know what hubs to use.”Meanwhile, stakeholders who are interested in having their businesses listed on the online guidebook are able to register with the DHTA.The Experience Dominica Digital Destination Handbook will be made available by the end of March.DHTA Digital Guidebooklast_img read more

first_imgThe Batesville Bulldogs Varsity fall 8-4 to East Central.Batesville vs. East Central Varsity Softball (4-15)Meg Liter collected three hits, but the Batesville Bulldogs Varsity still fell to East Central 8-4 in seven innings on Wednesday.Two of the Batesville Bulldogs Varsity’s runs were scored thanks to timely hitting by Liter. She homered in the first inning and singled in the second and fifth innings.East Central was sparked by #20 and #2, who teamed up for four hits and seven RBIs.The Batesville Bulldogs Varsity jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first.
