Hrvatska bi mogla hraniti 25 milijuna ljudi, ali uvozimo čak i vodu, maslinovo ulje, sol…

first_imgAccording to expert estimates, Croatia, given the climatic and geographical benefits, can produce enough food for 25 million people. Unfortunately, such products are withdrawn from the market when some of them have already been consumed, despite the controls carried out, both at EU level and in Croatia.Source / Author: Stanislav Soldo, Maslina

ST. COLUMBAS PIP ST.EUNANS IN ULSTER COLLEGES U15 FINAL

first_imgJoel Bradley Walsh who scored the winning goal for St. Columbas College in today’s Ulster Final against St. Eunans College. Pic.: Ciaran Foy, newsandsportfilesA second half goal from Joel Bradley Walsh was enough to claim the Ulster Colleges U-15 title for St. Columbas College, Stranorlar. This game was evenly balanced throughout with both defences well in control. Both sides were cheered on by sizeable numbers of their classmates who co-habitated, in good spirits, the Stand at the New Camp Complex in Killygordon.Neither side could break the deadlock before the interval so the teams turned round with everything to play for. Within fifteen minutes of the re-start Bradley Walsh capitalised on some indecision in the Eunans defence, as three defenders left it to each other to clear the danger the, diminutive by comparison, striker nipped in to lob the ball delicately over the out of position goalkeeper.St. Eunans never really responded to this blow.In defence they coped as they did around the centre but they lacked any forward-line punch. For their part Columbus remained calm and dealt with any Eunans threat capably. They had one defining moment when the otherwise impeccable Foy in nets dropped a cross. When the Eunans striker reacted quickest from six yards it was the impressive Oisin Gallen who acrobatically cleared the ball off the goal-line.The game, played entirely in a very sportsman like manner, ran it’s course with match officials Marty Quinn, Gerry Gallagher and Vincent Mc Laughlin keeping the game flowing. At the end FAIS representative James Rodgers presented the cup to Columbus captain Luke Gavigan as their supporters cheered on. Man of the Match: Oisin Gallen. ST.
